Lauren Seutter, O.D. practices full-scope family optometry, including the treatment and management of ocular diseases, contact lens fitting, co-management of cataract and refractive surgery, dry eye disease, eye emergencies, and pediatrics.
Dr. Seutter is certified through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, for the treatment and management of ocular disease and injections. She is an InfantSEE provider and specializes in working with children as young as three months old, to treat strabismus (eye turn), amblyopia, and other accommodative conditions.
Dr. Seutter was born and raised in the Northland and is a graduate of Park Hill High School. She earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Missouri and received her doctorate with cum laude honors from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Seutter trained at Children’s Mercy Hospital, The Eye Center in Memphis, and Vision Source Eyecare. She is a member of the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society, Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, and Missouri Optometric Association.
Lauren and her husband, Blake, live in Kansas City North and enjoy supporting the Northland. She serves as the KCI Rotary Secretary and is active through Restore Community Church. During her free time, Lauren enjoys mission trips, crafting, being in the sun, and cheering on the Chiefs or Royals.
